AKS Wins SBIR Phase II Award

AKS has been awarded a Phase II contract with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY, under the Federal Government's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.  The project entitled: "Innovative Technologies for Knowledge Capture and Transfer in Space Systems Product Development," is led by Tom Beckman, AKS Principal Knowledge Scientist and noted Knowledge Management thought leader and author.  AKS is supported by team member Eastport Analytics, Inc., an Arlington, Virginia-based solutions engineering firm specializing in agile software methods.  Noted Maryland high-tech entrepreneur, author, and artificial intelligence (AI) expert Steven Oxman is a technical consultant on the project.
