AKS team members receive Emerald Literati Network 2007 Excellence Award

Dr. Art Murray, AKS President and CEO, and Dr. Mirghani Mohamed, AKS Chief Technology Consultant, have been selected as 2007 Excellence Award winners by the Literati Network of Emerald Publishing, Bradford, UK.  Murray and Mohamed share the honors with co-author Dr. Michael Stankosky, Founding Co-Director of the George Washington University Institute for Knowledge and Innovation.  Their paper entitled: "Knowledge Management and Information Technology: Can They Work In Perfect Harmony?"  was one of three "Highly Commended Papers" selected by the Journal of Knowledge Management over the past twelve months.  Ms. Ruth Happenstall, external relations advisor for Emerald, states that the paper "...was one of the most impressive pieces of work the team will have seen throughout last year."  The award will be formally presented at an upcoming Emerald Publishing event.
